Common questions

Inspection & remedial FAQs.

Can every defective fire door be repaired?

No. Suitability depends on the defect, door construction, available evidence and permitted repair methods. Where a defensible repair cannot be established, we will recommend replacement.

Can you inspect doors installed by another contractor?

Yes. We can agree an independent condition inspection scope for existing doors, subject to access and the information available.

Do you cover multi-site programmes?

Yes. Cerberus supports individual buildings and nationwide estate programmes, with phasing agreed around access and occupancy.

Can you supply the replacement hardware?

Yes. Our ironmongery service can assemble project-specified fire-rated hinges, closers, locks, latches, pull handles, seals and accessories.

Need a door condition programme?

Send your property list, existing schedule or photographs and we will help define the next step.
