1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use this website or submit an enquiry through it. By submitting an enquiry, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms. If you do not agree, please do not submit the form. You may still contact us by telephone or email to discuss your requirements.

These website terms do not replace the project-specific terms, scope, quotation or order confirmation that may apply if you later buy goods or services from us.

Unless a written quotation or contract expressly identifies another legal entity, references to “Cerberus”, “we”, “us” and “our” in these website terms mean CVN Ltd trading as Cerberus Passive Fire Protection.

3. Website information

We take reasonable care to keep this website accurate and up to date. Its content is general information only and is not a fire-safety design, specification, installation instruction or professional advice for a particular opening or project.

Images and the online door builder are illustrative. Colours, grain, proportions, glazing layouts and ironmongery may differ from the final product. Product availability, dimensions, construction, fire rating, smoke control, security performance, compatibility, certification and supporting evidence are confirmed only in our written quotation, technical submittal or order confirmation.

4. Enquiries and quotations

Submitting a form, building a door or adding ironmongery to an enquiry list does not place an order, reserve stock or create a contract. It is an invitation for Cerberus to review your requirements and, where appropriate, provide a quotation.

A contract is formed only when we accept your order in writing or as stated in the project-specific quotation or order confirmation. Prices, lead times and delivery dates shown or discussed before acceptance are indicative unless we confirm otherwise in writing.

5. Your information and specifications

You are responsible for ensuring that information supplied with an enquiry is accurate and complete, including measurements, quantities, handing, wall construction, finishes, glazing, ironmongery, access, delivery and performance requirements. We may ask for further information or a survey before quoting or accepting an order.

You must not upload material that is unlawful, malicious, confidential without authority, or that infringes another person’s rights. Uploaded drawings, schedules and photographs are used to assess and respond to your enquiry in accordance with our privacy notice.

6. Fire-door and passive-fire performance

Fire-door assemblies and passive-fire systems depend on compatible components, the supporting construction, tested or assessed configurations, installation and ongoing inspection and maintenance. No website image or description should be used on its own to select, alter or install a life-safety product.

The exact certification, field of application, evidence, limitations and responsibilities for each product or project will be identified during technical review and confirmed in the relevant quotation or submittal.

7. Consumer rights

If you are acting as a consumer, nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights relating to goods or services that are faulty, not as described or not provided with reasonable care and skill.

Cancellation and return rights depend on the contract and the goods or services involved. Bespoke or made-to-measure goods may be treated differently from standard goods. The applicable information will be provided before a binding consumer order is placed.

Unless stated otherwise, Cerberus owns or is licensed to use the text, graphics, branding, layouts, photographs and other content on this website. You may view or print pages for your own legitimate project or purchasing needs. You must not reproduce, sell, modify or commercially exploit the content without our written permission.

You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, interfere with its operation, submit false or fraudulent enquiries, or use automated systems to extract content or overload the service. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the website, our systems or other users.
